THE SCORPION Ruled by Mars & Pluto Feminine, Negative, Fixed Water Sign
|
It is said that there is no pain like Scorpion
pain--simply because of the intense energy that often accompanies this
sign. In many respects, Scorpio is the most powerful and intense sign
of the zodiac. This can be attributed to the fact that Scorpio is
jointly governed by Mars and Pluto, while Uranus, the planet of
spontaneous energies, is also raised in this sign. This is the only
sign in the zodiac with three symbols: the Scorpion, the Serpent and
the Phoenix. They symbolise the satanic, the wise, and the
exalted--reflecting emotions that reach from hell to heaven. Thus,
Scorpio represents a broad span of transformative emotions generated
by its ability to rise through the essence of these symbols.
Strong and intense sexual needs are depicted by this sign. You are
probably not so much drawn to pleasure, but to a climatic
ego-transformation that goes beyond words. Some may consider this to
be a form of Kundalini release, while others a simple healing process.
Being highly intuitive, it is hard to deceive you. Any bonding that
lacks emotional intensity and drama will probably not survive, no
matter how seductive the mate is. On the other hand, you might prefer
to be in some form of relationship than be without one. When Cupid's
dart finds its mark, the intense emotions you offer have no equal. In
love, you can be very self-sacrificing and will fight fiercely when
you or your loved ones are hurt. The Scorpio type who has yet to start
to rise through the symbols often likes power games in sex, such as
dominance and submission. The aforementioned may, of course, be
modified significantly by other factors in your chart, such as Saturn
in the eighth house.
As a discrete person, you will immediately drop anyone who betrays
your secrets. You give and expect no mercy in a conflict situation,
and anyone who wishes to injure you in some way should be aware of
your passion for revenge. Scorpio's are often strong and muscular or
sleek and fast. You may exhibit a distinguished appearance and possess
a mystical look in your eyes. Such an appearance can enable you to be
very charismatic. Your sensitivity and intuition are strong enough to
allow you to read the thoughts of others. You also have a deep
understanding of death and do not fear it.
A lack of control over your intense passions may lead to
possessiveness, jealousy, and even violence. For good or ill, no sign
is as powerful as Scorpio. Because you focus all of your energies on a
task, it is quite important that you set off on the right
track--especially since you take life so seriously. Your perfectionist
desire towards tasks makes it hard for you to delegate responsibility,
which can eventually lead to burnout. However, you do have incredible
stamina and see most things through to a conclusion. You do not care
about praise from others and would rather rely on your own assessment.
You are strong willed and have a highly developed emotional drive and
sense of purpose. Your life is often a constant battle to control your
extraordinary drive by using your willpower creatively. Although you
detest weakness in yourself or others, you are often quite sympathetic
and willing to help those in need. In turn, you immediately expect
them to stand on their own two feet without further assistance.
You love mysteries and have a probing truth-behind-the-truth ability.
Thus, you are particularly talented when it comes to discovery,
science, and research. You are a passionate defender of justice, even
when faced with disaster. This is because Scorpio is a fixed sign. You
may relate more to having a reactive mind during your early years, but
with time a developed consciousness negates any harsh criticism of
others due to poor judgement. Diplomacy is not a natural
characteristic, but it can be developed. You generally prefer to
receive a constructive and honest opinion, yet you would rather keep
silent in order to temper your feelings and opinions. In conclusion,
if life is still intense and painful, the more you focus on your
positive traits, the less room there will be for the emotions that
hold you back and create such pain. When you eventually realise the
transformational path you are taking, there is invariably a special
teacher who can help you further.
